Accommodates Raised Floors
For raised-floor environments, simply remove the tile beneath the unit, set TekRak in place within the raised-floor grid, and anchor TekRak directly to the concrete floor. No additional bracing is required, even for Seismic Zone 4 applications.
After bolting TekRak in place, cut the 2x2 floor tile in half and place it on the floor frame. If cabling requirements demand greater space between each rack, TekRak can straddle the raise floor-grid, allowing virtually any spacing between the racks. TekRak eliminates pinned-down floor tiles, preserving the utility of access flooring.
